$90 Spring Training Dodger Tickets

Withe the economy slowing down, the pricing of the 2009 Los Angeles Dodger Spring Training Tickets could not have come at a worse time. Over 690 of the best seats of the house will have an amazingly steep price tag associated with them as the team plays their first sping training season in Arizona. Moving from Vero Beach, Florida, where the tickets highest price point was $20, the new premium seats have more than quadrupled in price.

The are some additional amenities that come with the tickets that are sold for that price. We have learned that price includes VIP parking, VIP seating, $20 coupon for food and drink, bottled water, sunscreen, a towel and a premium gift; such as a hat or visor.

With such a high price point we wonder if the towel is for throwing it in after a visit to the ball park with your closest friend(s). While many fans are excited to see the Dodgers play in Arizona, it will be interesting to see the impact that this will have on attendance. After a brief survey of some of our local fans, the nicely packaged “deal” is not getting warm reception. We’d love to hear our visitors thoughts.
