D-backs Release Spring Training Schedule

December 19, 2008 by

The Arizona Diamondbacks have announced their 2009 Spring Training Schedule. The 36 game schedule begins with a cross town rivalry (for the spring anyhow) with the neighboring Colorado Rockies. The team’s Tucson home opener will be against the Chicago White Sox and will be packed with action for the remainder of the Cactus League Spring Training.

21 of the games will be played in Tucson while 15 of the games will be played through out the Phoenix Metro area. The D-backs will wrap up their Spring Training with two exhibition games against the Chicago White Sox, in Phoenix, at Chase Field.

Spring training tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. MST on dbacks.com.
