March 1, 2009 by

teams_cleThe Cleveland Indians scored five runs in the first two innings off Colorado Rockies starter Aaron Cook which was enough to beat the Rockies by a score of 6-4. The Indians were lead offensively by shortstop Jhonny Peralta who went 2-3 and hit a two-run homer off Cook in the 2nd inning. Peralta is off to a hot start this spring hitting .500 after today’s effort. Rockies center fielder Carlos Gonzalez had his best outing of the spring going 2-4 with a triple and scoring one run.
