Mathis Goes Yard Twice in Halo Victory

Catcher Jeff Mathis of the Los Angeles Angels went two-for-two with three RBIs in the Angels victory over the Colorado Rockies. The Rockies, who have not managed to win a game thus far, will face the Milwaukee Brewers in Maryvale. The Angels would manufacture 20 hits as the clobber the slumping Rockies. The Angel’s Fernando Rodriguez would throw four strikeouts in three innings but, gave up one homerun. John Lackey would get the win after facing six batters and allowing no hits.
