Dodgers even up Cactus League record behind Mitch Jones’ bat

teams_ladAfter San Diego Padres starter Chris Young retired five straight to start the game, Los Angeles Dodgers left fielder Mitch Jones hit his third homer of the season. Young then retired the next batter making Jone’s hit the only one allowed in his two innings. Jones is having an impressive spring so far leading the team in homeruns, RBI’s with 8 and total bases with 15 in just 12 plate apparances. Dodgers pitchers Chad Billingsley and Shawn Estes pitched four scoreless innings to lead the Dodgers to a 5-4 victory.
