Soriano and Ramirez hit first homers of spring to lift Cubs over A’s

teams_chcChicago Cubs sluggers Alfanso Soriano and Aramis Ramirez hit their first home runs of the spring today knocking in four of Chicago’s six runs and leading the Cubs to a 6-4 win over the Oakland A’s. A’s first baseman Jason Giambi continued his struggles since returning to the A’s going 0 for 3 and dropping his average this spring to .091. Cubs pitcher Kevin Gregg, who is competing for the Cubs closer job gave up one hit in a scoreless inning.
