Dodgers’ Paul, Nearly Hits for Cycle in Texas Duel

Rookie right fielder Xavier Paul is another player to come close to hitting for the cycle this spring training as the Dodgers hammer the Rangers at Surprise Stadium. The Dodgers got off to a small lead with one run in the first inning and followed it up with a huge second inning, scoring seven runs. The Rangers would try to frantically keep up the pace by manufacturing seven more runs in the next four innings of play. Four home runs by the Rangers would not be enough as they lose to Los Angeles by a score of 13 to 7.
