Kansas City’s Two Homers Earn Win

March 14, 2009 by

The Royals and the Rangers would square off in Surprise as the Royals would defeat the Rangers by a score of 4 to 1. All four Kansas City runs would come off of two home runs hit by the team as right fielder Ross Gload and catcher John Buck both contribute with two run shots in the second and sixth innings. The Rangers’ split squad would lose to the Royals as they are only able to contribute one run.
