Wilson Hits Third Home Run in Two Games

March 19, 2009 by

The Padres and the Mariners who share their Peoria facility squared off in a late game that saw the Seattle split squad win the game by a score of 10 to 8. Mike Wilson, who hit two homers in yesterday’s game, hit another in the win over San Diego. The Padres would score five runs to begin the game and lead through two-and-a-half innings of play before the Mariners would come back to tie in the bottom of the third. The Padres would again take the lead before a big four run fifth inning for the Mariners. This would be enough for the team to win the game against their co-tenant team.
