Battle in Papago Goes to White Sox

March 22, 2009 by

The Chicago White Sox would come off of a horrible loss in Glendale to the Cubs to Defeat the Oakland A’s at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. The Sox would start off quick with seven total runs in the first two innings as the Athletics were only able to manufacture two. The A’s would have themselves a pretty big third inning, scoring four runs, but it would not be enough to challenge the Sox and their team’s four home runs. Although the A’s would pull within two, the White Sox would redeem themselves after yesterday’s brutal loss by defeating the Oakland Athletics in Phoenix by a score of 12 to 10.
