Seattle Turns Tides on Giants

teams_seaThe Giants, who defeated the Mariners the day prior, would begin the game with a home run to take the lead in the first inning. As it has been said, that is all she wrote. The solo shot by Pablo Sandoval was the only run scored by the Giants as the Mariners would score a total of five for the game. Lincecum of the Giants would pitch for six innings, giving up three earned runs. Seattle pitching, who would give up only one run, the homer, combined for a six strikeouts in the victory over San Francisco.
