Hunter goes yard twice in Angels win

March 26, 2009 by

teams_laaIf the Los Angeles Angels play like this all season, the AL West may be clinched by the All-Star break. Today the Angels rode the bat of outfielder Torii Hunter in the 8-5 win over the Cleveland Indians. Hunter went 3-for-4 with a double, two homers and three runs batted in. Hunter was also part of a back-to-back-to-back homer spree in the third inning off Indians starter Scott Lewis. Hunter was joined by Bobby Abreu and Vladamir Guerrero in the home run fest. The Angels are now 21-4-1 while the Indians fall to 9-15-2.
