Royals and Mariners Home Run Derby goes to KC

teams_kcThe Royals and the Mariners had six home runs total in the game as they faced each other in Peoria. Kansas City would quickly take the lead in the first inning with a couple of runs that were later followed by five more in the second inning. The Mariners would come back with a vengance as they score a total of eight runs un the bottom of the second. Seattle would score a couple more runs before the Royals performed in what would be the deciding inning. In the top of the seventh, the Royals would score nine more runs in what would ultimately be enough to win the game as they take the win by a score of 17 to 12.
