Seattle Clobbers Indians

March 31, 2009 by

teams_seaSeattle first baseman Russell Branyan would hit his sixth and seventh home runs in Seattle’s 12 to 4 win over the Cleveland Indians. Seattle would pretty much run away with the game from the second inning onward as they would score a total of eleven runs in the first five innings to the Indians’ one run. Branyan would hit a two run homer in the third inning and a solo shot in the fourth. Cleveland would produce little in reaction to the high-octane Mariner offense as they lose by a score of 4 to 12.
