Seattle Ends Cactus League with a Statement

April 2, 2009 by

teams_seaThe Seattle Mariners hammered the San Diego split-squad today as both teams would play their final game in the Cactus League Spring Training. One homer by the Padres would be no match for the offense that was delivered in this game. The Mariners would have two home runs of their own, three doubles and a triple as they deliver a total of 18 runs in the game. Some of this beating can, more than likely, be attributed to the nature of the split-squad as the main portion of the Padres roster received some well-deserved rest.
