The Philadelphia Phillies Jamie Moyer delivered a stellar outing as he fans five D-backs and allows no earned runs in the victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks. D-backs Earn Back-to-back Shutouts

The Diamondbacks would come off of an exciting victory from the previous day to deal nine more scoreless innings to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Max Scherzer was on the mound for the D-backs as he evens up his record at 6-6. Mark Reynolds and Gerardo Parra would go yard in the victory to add some additional run support in the game. After a convincing defeat on Friday night, the Diamondbacks showed the Pirates some offensive prowess and some solid pitching. Pirates Return the Favor – Defeat D-backs

The Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the Pirates in convincing fashion the evening prior but the Pittsburgh Pirates would bring their A-Game on Friday night. Friday evenings are for fireworks after the game at Chase Field but, the fireworks on the field were for the wrong team on Friday night. Read more

Diamondbacks Go Green This Home Stand

The Arizona Diamondbacks will be using renewable energy for this homes tand against the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Philadelphia Phillies. The Diamondbacks are in the process of getting their building LEED certified by the U.S. Green building council. A LEED certification is granted to professionals, professional organizations and establishments exhibiting leadership in energy and engineering design.
