March 5, 2010 by

The Los Angeles Dodgers would defeat the White Sox in Glendale as the two teams would meet for the first time this spring. The Dodgers would get off to an early lead while the White Sox would go scoreless through four innings of play. Dodgers pitchers Vincinte Padilla and Ramon Ortiz would pitch two scoreless innings a piece before Chicago would see a run. Jared Mitchell of the Sox would drive in the first run for the team in the fifth inning. Los Angeles would gather eight runs to Chicago’s three as they beat the team that they share the facility with.
