Kansas City Squeezes by Texas

March 5, 2010 by

After being denied a win in their previous matchup, the Royals’ pitching was able to do a better job of managing the Rangers hitting. After allowing 13 runs in the game prior, the pitching staff would only allow two runs in Friday’s game. Both teams would be able to produce runs off of their extra base hits.

The Rangers would have a pair doubles that would drive in each of the runs while the Royals would hit a double and a triple. Despite their two errors, the Royals would manage to leave less runners in scoring position as they beat the Rangers by two runs with a score for four to two.
