Oakland’s manufactures enough runs to down Angels

March 6, 2010 by

Los Angeles Angels ace starter Jered Weaver made his season debut going 1.2 innings allowing two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out one Oakland Athletic. A’s starter Dallas Barden wen two full innings allowing one run on two hits and a walk in the A’s home win.

The A’s scored how they often do with good ole National League style of manufacturing runs. Coco Crisp lead off as the DH and went 2-for-3 and scored a run. The A’s four runs were all knocked in by different players. The Angels fell to 0-2-1, a far different cry from when they tore up the Cactus League last year. The A’s moved to 2-1.
