Tribe downs Cinci with strong pitching

They share a state, they share facilities in Goodyear and today they shared the field with the Cleveland Indians getting the best of this one by a score of 4-2. David Huff , who is trying to land a spot in the rotation for Cleveland threw two scoreless innings for the Tribe who were outhit 9-7 by the Reds but were able to put up more runs. Reds starter Johnny Cueto who is looking to develop into the player who has flashes of brilliance over the last two season allowed five hits and four runs over his two innings.

One time can’t-miss prospect Andy Marte who is trying to make the team went 1-for-2, but made the one count with a 2-run homer off Cueto. Reds infielder Miguel Cairo went 1-for-2 knocking in both of the Reds runs with a homer in the 6th.
