Whie Sox double up Dodgers 8-4

March 6, 2010 by

Former Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Juan Pierre, who stepped in and stepped up last season when Manny Ramirez was suspended, had an RBI single and a stolen base for his new team the Chicago White Sox. Manny had a solid game himself in the DH role going 2-for-2 with an rbi, walk and run scored.

Freddy Garcia allowed on two hits with a walk in two innings before turning the ball over to Bobby Jenks who was lit up for two runs on two hits and two walks in his one inning of work. The Dodgers rolled out an impressive series of pitchers of Russ Ortiz, Jeff Weaver and Eric Gagne. Or at lest it would have been impressive if this was 2004. Weaver allowed three runs on sour hits and Gagne allowed two run in his first inning back in blue.
