Brewers jumps out early on Mariners split squad

The Milwaukee Brewers would face the Seattle Mariners’ split squad in Maryvale as they would get off to an early lead in the bottom of the first inning. Seattle pitcher Doug Fister would give up three runs as he started the game. Brewers’ pitcher Manny Parra would pitch three scoreless innings as he silenced the Seattle bats.
The Brewers would extend their lead by adding three more runs to the score. The Mariners would have two fielding errors during the game coming from prospect Dustin Ackley and third baseman Jose Lopez. Catcher Corey Hart would hit one home run for the Brewers as they defeat the Mariners by a score of two to six.
