The Los Angeles Dodgers visited Scottsdale Stadium to face the San Francisco Giants in Monday’s spring training action. The National League rivals would keep the game close as they both earned a run a piece in the first inning. Matt Kemp homered off of Barry Zito in the first inning to give the Dodgers their first run of the game. Giants’ left fielder John Bowker would continue to do well as he hit a triple in the game.

In the fourth inning, the Giants would regain the lead by one run which would not prove to be enough. In the top of the sixth inning, the Dodgers would tie the game with one run of their own. The game would be sent into extra innings as the Giants would score one run in the bottom of the 10th inning to win the game by a score of three to two.
