Angels Come from Behind to Win

The San Diego Padres would visit the Angels at Tempe Diablo Stadium at they would be the first team to put a run on the board. In a game where pitching would seem to be the story, San Diego would keep the Angels scoreless through five. With the lead belonging to the Padres going into the sixth inning, the Angels would score four runs to take the lead.

In the top of the seventh the Padres would battle back to tie the game. The Angels would add two more runs in the eighth and San Diego would add another run to the scoreboard but it would not be enough to hang onto the lead as they are defeated by the Angels by a score of six to five.
