Athletics Split Squad Deadlocked with Rangers

In the second Athletics’ game of the day, the Rangers would visit Phoenix Municipal Stadium. The Rangers would score first in the second inning putting three runs on the board. The A’s would have a huge third inning as they were able to drive in five runs of their own.
While the A’s had a two run lead, the Rangers would take the lead in the top of the sixth. Later than inning, Oakland would be able to tie the game. Both teams would end up scoring one run a piece in the seventh inning as the game ends tied at eight.
