Greinke and Crew Blank Rockies

The Royals would travel to Tucson to face the Colorado Rockies. The game would be scoreless through six innings as both teams were unable to drive in any runs. Zack Greinke would pitch three innings for the Royals, allowing only one hit while striking out two. Colorado pitched a decent game as their staff combined for a total of seven strikeouts.
In the seventh inning, the Royals would finally be able to put the first run on the board and would follow that up with four more runs in the eighth. Colorado would not be able to score as they lose to Kansas City by a score of five to nothing.
