Mariners Drive in Six Early to Beat Giants

Seattle and San Francisco would go head-to-head in Scottsdale. The Giants are currently the owners of the second best record in the Cactus League. After starting the game with two runs, the Mariners would go scoreless in the second inning . In the third and fourth innings, Seattle would two more runs in each for a total of six.
San Francisco’s pitching was solid throughout the game as the staff combined for a total of nine strikeouts. Despite the pitching, the Giants would only be able to muster up one run in the fourth and another in the sixth. The Mariners would defeat the Giants by a score of six to two.
