Giants pitching slows down Rockies

The San Francisco Giants would travel to Tucson to face the Colorado Rockies. The Giants would score one run in the first inning and would be able to score five more runs through the fifth inning. Through four, Giants pitching would be able to hold the Rockies to no runs.

The Rockies would only be able to score one run in the fifth and another in the ninth while the Giants would be able to add three more runs in the seventh inning as they beat the Rockies by a score of nine to two.
