Oakland Defeats the Royals in Phoenix

The Oakland A’s would face the Royals in Phoenix as they were able to get no the board early on in the game. The A’s would score two runs in the first, second and third innings. With a pretty comfortable lead, the A’s would not be able to score again until the eighth but would be able to drive in four more runs.

The Royals would be held scoreless through the first six innings before scoring two runs in the seventh and their third and final run in the eighth. With the offensive display no match for the Royals, the A’s would win the game by a score of three to ten
