Cleveland Defeats the Reds

The two Ohio teams would send split squads that would face each other on Wednesday night in Goodyear. The Reds would score first in the bottom of inning number one as the Indians would tie the game in the following inning. Cleveland pitching would hold the Reds to no more runs through the following four innings.

The Indians would score four runs in the fourth inning. The Indians were able to maintain the lead as the Reds would be able to put one more run on the board in the bottom of the sixth. Cleveland would score three more runs in the final two innings of play as they defeat the Reds by a score of eight to two.
