Three Homers Launch Texas Passed Seattle

The Rangers and Mariners would play ball in Peoria as the Rangers would score first in the second inning. In the following inning Josh Hamilton would hit his second home run of the spring to help the club extend their lead. In the bottom of the third inning the Mariners would be able to put a run on the board as a result of an Ichiro Suzuki RBI.

The Rangers would homer again in the fourth and fifth innings thanks to Nelson Cruz and Chris Davis. The Rangers would have a total of five runs in the fifth inning as they are able to hold on to the lead to win the game by a score of eight to one.
