The Giants Hang on to Defeat Texas

March 22, 2010 by

The San Francisco Giants would play the Rangers at Scottsdale Stadium. The rangers would get on the board early as the team would drive in one run in the first inning of play. Later that inning, the Giants would answer with three runs of their own as they would hold the lead through the fourth inning. In the fifth, the Rangers would be able to put three more runs on the board and take the lead from the Giants.

With the Giants trailing, they would be able to tie the game in the bottom of the eighth and would be able to knock in the game winning run in the bottom of the ninth. The San Francisco Giants come back to beat Texas by a score of five to four.
