San Diego Comes Back to Beat the Rockies

The San Diego Padres would face the Colorado Rockies in Tucson as the Rockies would take a two run lead in the third inning. The Padres would try to keep the game close as they went run for run in the fourth and fifth innings with both teams scoring a run a piece.

In the sixth inning, Padres bats would explode as they were able to drive in five runs in that inning. The sixth inning was highlighted by a two run homer by catcher Nick Hundley of the Padres. After giving up the lead, the Rockies would score two runs in the seventh but would not be able to come back as the Padres defeat the Rockies by a score of nine to six
