White Sox Fall to Padres

March 25, 2010 by

The game got off to a quick start as both teams were able to score in the first inning of play. The San Diego Padres would begin with the lead as they were able to score two runs in the bottom of the first. By the third inning, the White Sox would be able to come back to tie the game as Buehrle would go back to work to throw four more shit out innings, striking out three.

The Padres would be able to get two more runs in the sixth and another in the eighth to regain the lead. Catcher Nick Hundley would prove effective with the bat, once again, as he would have himself a double in the game. For San Diego, pitcher Wade LeBlanc would allow only one earned run and strike out five as he would end up earning the win in six innings pitched. Padres win by a score of five to three.
