Oakland’s Split Squad Downs Rangers

March 26, 2010 by

The Rangers and the A’s played in Surprise as both teams came out hitting in the first inning. Both teams would knock in two runs a piece as the score was tied going into the second inning. Oakland would be able to drive in another run as they would take he lead in the second.

Both teams would remain scoreless until the ninth inning when the A’s would add some insurance runs to the board. The Athletics’ three runs in the ninth would give them a comfortable lead as the Rangers were only able to score one run in the bottom of the ninth inning. The A’s win it by a score of six to three.
