Brewers Late Lead Beats Rangers

March 27, 2010 by

The Brewers and Rangers would face each other at Maryvale Stadium as the bats for both teams were pretty quiet for the first half of the game. Milwaukee would score the first two runs of the game in the sixth inning off of C.J. Wilson as he was pulled from the game in that inning. The two runs scored would be as a result of a two-run blast by Prince Fielder.

In the following inning Texas would be able to put their first run on the scoreboard. Rangers’ third baseman Esteban German would drive in the run with a two out RBI single. The Brewers would score one more in the bottom of the eighth as they seal the game with a victory by a score of three to one.
