Dodgers Hold Off Seattle

The Los Angeles Dodgers faced the Seattle Mariners at their spring home today as spring training begins winding down. The Dodgers scored first in the second inning with two runs crossing the plate. In the third inning of play, outfielder Andre Ethier would hit a solo homer to extend the Dodger lead to three.

Los Angeles pitcher Charlie Haeger would throw five and a third innings of shutout baseball as he would only allow two hits and throw five strikeouts in the game. The Mariners would remain scoreless through eight innings, until they would score one run in the ninth off of a home run by outfielder Matt Tuiasosopo. The Dodgers hang on to win by a score of three to one.
