Metro Phoenix is home to the Arizona Fall League which begins October 7th of for the 2008 fall season. Up and coming stars come to the valley of the sun to gear up for a change to make it to spring training and a chance to make it in the major leagues.
Many stars have began their careers right here in Arizona including Jason Giambi, Ryan Howard, Justin Morneau, Albert Pujols, Jimmy Rollins, Roy Halladay, Brandon Webb and more. Major league baseball legend Ryne Sandburg will be amongst the coaches helping to train these talented individuals. Sandburg can be seen with his team, the Mesa Solar Sox.
