Beckham Bats Perfect, Drives in Seven

The first place Peoria Saguaros did not want a replay of the loss that they had to Scottsdale last evening. Neither did Gordon Beckham who was explosive in Thursday afternoon’s game. Beckham went 5 for 5 with two home runs to add to the damage that was delivered to Scottsdale. Scottsdale would give up 20 runs to the Peoria Saguaros during their 20-9 loss this afternoon. Cole Armstrong of the White Sox and Bill Rhinehart of the Washington Nationals would also go yard in the high-scoring game. Read more
