Upton Inks Six-Year Deal

With the second biggest contract in franchise history, the Arizona Diamondbacks have signed a six-year deal with outfielder Justin Upton. Upton, who has continued to improve during his time with the Diamondbacks, hit .300 with 26 homeruns and 86 RBI in 2009. Beginning his fourth year in Arizona, Upton looks to be a long-term fixture in the outfield for the D-backs. Justin Upton opted not to go year-to-year as a result of negotiations with the club that seem to have ended favorably for both sides. Read more
