Chad Qualls continued to struggle this summer coming in to relieve Kennedy and was tagged for a run on two hits, one of which was a homer. Kennedy finished the spring with a 2.88 ERA and Qualls finished with a 8.31 ERA. Randy Wolf got the start for the Brewers and was hit hard allowing five runs on seven hits in four innings.

The D-backs big bats had a great spring and finished strong today. Justin Upton went 2-for-3 on the day and scored two runs and hit his 6th homer of the year. Mark Reynolds hit his third homer of the year and went 2-for-4 raising his average to .365. Chris Young looks like he is on track for a bounce back season as he it .316 on the spring and hit his third homer of the spring today. Short stop Stephen Drew is penciled into the second spot in the order and after going 2-for-4 on the spring raised his average to .390.
